You don't need to arrive knowing how to pose. We'll talk through the look and feel you want. Then build the session around it. I'll give direction throughout the shoot while leaving room for the moments that happen naturally.

Swim Sessions

Swimwear photography with a confident, editorial feel. A session can be clean and simple or more expressive, with the wardrobe, setting, and mood planned around you.

Whether this is your first time in front of the camera or you have a specific look in mind, we’ll make photographs that feel strong and unmistakably yours.

Studio and location options are chosen during planning.

An intimate portrait experience centered on your comfort, boundaries, and personal style. You choose what to wear and what you want to share; nothing needs to feel performative.We can keep the look soft and understated or make it bold and editorial. The goal is a set of portraits you feel good about making and keeping.Private studio experience or location sessions upon your request. Your images are shared publicly only with your permission.

Creative & Portrait Sessions

Portraits with room to try something new. Bring an outfit, a mood, or a half-formed idea, and we’ll shape the location, lighting, and direction into a shoot that feels personal.These sessions work for an editorial look, a milestone, a portfolio update, or simply a version of yourself you want to remember.

Choose your session style, share your ideas and we'll work out the details together. 

Before your session
A planning conversation covering your ideas, wardrobe, setting, and boundaries.

During your session
Up to 90 minutes of photography, with posing and expression guidance throughout. Up to two outfits or looks allows variety without rushing.

Your finished images
A curated collection of professionally edited photographs, delivered through a private online gallery. Digital downloads are included. Image quantity varies with the session; the focus is on finished photographs worth keeping.

Location and privacy
Studio sessions in St. Albans, WV, or an agreed location. The SDS studio has a private changing booth as well as restrooms. You're welcome to bring a chaperone. Public sharing of your photographs requires your permission.

Prints and special requests
Prints are available to purchase separately. Travel, location fees, extra shooting time, and more involved concepts are discussed and quoted before scheduling.

Sessions are arranged by appointment. Reaching out starts a conversation; we'll confirm the scope, total cost, and payment details before you commit.

Answers to Common Session Questions.
Do I need modeling experience?
No. I've spent more than 15 years photographing people and helping them with posing and expression. We'll work through the session together.
What do I receive for the price?
Your package covers planning, the session time, editing, and the included finished digital images. You'll receive a private gallery with download access. Prints are a separate optional purchase.
Will my photographs be shared online?
Only with your permission. You can keep your images private, including boudoir sessions booked for personal use or as a gift.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. You're welcome to bring a chaperone. I simply ask that they let me direct the session and keep the shooting area clear.
How do I reserve a session?
Start with an inquiry so we can confirm a date and your session details. Your date is reserved once we've agreed on the date and deposit is received.
